    tbh this is last winter but the same owl is sitting on the same pole almost every day.......they return to the exact spot they find food all their life.....this the female and this year she has a male with her.....island I live on is a known wintering spot for these beautiful birds

    It’s a snowy owl and a fairly common sight here in New England,

    They winter here then retreat back North into Canada in the spring.
