No snow here in central Connecticut either! Nothing picture-worthy around here most of the time. That "A.J." playground thing is...weird!
A quiet winter scene from my old house in Connecticut...on January 7, 2011 (roughly 11:30 PM that night).
I'm not sure how the photos turned out on HF when I posted them as the file size was very small in campison to the 16mb oringals, I had to edit them a little bit I'm just learning some editing.
Thx. I'm learning to take shots in JPG RAW mode then I add a bit of sharpness to the image and it makes those clouds really nice. I have a Canon 7D which is outdated but it takes good photos still. I would like a new camera where I could Bluetooth or wireless photos to my phone or computer.
Oh Yah Good Photo @Irminsul . I briefly saw it on my phone earlier but that certainly didn't do it justice.
Thanks. I have a few more to post too. I just am not sure if the quality is reduced like I said when I post them as they are 16mb and then reduced to like 600kb. It looks good on my phone though. I don't consider myself an artist or photographer in a sense but I have a habit of enjoying something I call alternative photography and art, and that it basically things that aren't artistic to most, but I find it artistic. Such as even a barbed wire fence, or that bike, an old building. Things people walk by and pay no attention to, I like to look at them. What happened in that building? Who rode that bike. Who are these people. I find it hauntingly chilling and beautiful. Sorry the name I use is "abstract photography" lol.
^So glad you took pictures I was intrigued yesterday, and thought about asking you to take a pic of the sand river. I didn't want to be annoying.
I wouldnt have been annoyed I wish I knew more about it, I cant really find much online about it. The only thing I know is it is a remnant from millions of years ago when that part of the state was under the ocean
