Oh yeah, I don't get those fanatic gamers anyway, let alone people hassling other people to get the newest console.
I dunno. Same shit went down with Cabbage Patch kids. I think my dad almost fought a guy over the last Wrinkles dog puppet one Xmas. And we're talkn' 20 years ago. Elmo who? It's just too easy to blame video game violence on real life violence. The problem is the commercialized frenzy and hype that these big companies calculate out very well to create atmospheres where people feel like it's dog eat dog just to get a product.
George, you're so cool. And Paulie... the local walmart has quite a few PS3's, Wiis, and Xbox 360's. however i think i am finally sick of games, hooray
I got the wii 'cause I felt we were turning into lazy gonna-be-fat video gamers. That little bit of action involved keeps the guilt away, and if I wanna be totally lazy I just pop in a gamecube disk. It kind of brings back that old instinct where I'm going around a corner in a game and realize that I'm actually leaning even though leaning doesn't do a damn thing...at least now it does and I don't look like such a 'tard playing anymore I agree if you don't want hassle you should probably wait to get one. We've been trying to hunt down a spare wii remote for 3 months now, they're as hard to come by as the systems. That and the game prices are still hella high. But yeah, wii rocks, everything else is old skool.
Yeah, haha. I just chose to correlate the two because, well, I find that intriguing. Rap and video games were kinda pathetic back then, but now it's like everyone thinks it's hardcore/the shit.
Haha, so I'm told. Personally, I just think I'm over-analytic, anti-authoritorian, and highly critical of general people/pop-culture issues, though not so much judgmental. You still have that N64 that I gave you?
