The swapfile / page file setting is under the performance options when you right click on "My computer" and hit properties. Setting it to one size "reduces the work windows has to do" just set it to 1024 for both the maximum and minimum and reboot. May or may not give a noticeable improvement in your performance.

yeah man thats crazy my speed compared to yours!

 

Spoofing the mac works sometimes id recomend getting ccleaner and running it a couple times, you would be amazed at how much garbage gets built up on your hard drive. Also make sure you keep your cache cleared, especialy your temp files. For whoever said they had hughesnet....im soooooo sorry. I deal with wildblue customers all day so i know what its like.

also it says Im less than 50 miles from Markham ...but Im guessing Toronto is where my DSL gets connected to internet so it shows me as Toronto but I'm actually more than 300-400 miles away
