Why?

I have mine because I like the look of tattoos, simple really. I prefer it to bare clean skin. I got my first tattoo at 17 and my parents thought that would be the end - how wrong they were.

I have had people coming up to me asking why and saying I have ruined the body god gave to me, but I say I am merely enhancing it! I find it very irritating when people feel you shouldn't do anything that deviates from the norm.

I am getting my next one on Wednesday

I am getting cherry blossoms along my foot and wrapping up the back of my leg. I have one bare leg at the minute, so need more done to it!

Haha that is creepy. I wouldn't change anything about my tats, I love them all! My guy is a tattoo artist, so he has done a lot of mine.

I do sometimes get carried away - I found this, made me think about doing it!

 

I am 56 years old, have more than 1 tattoo ( they are relatively small) and multiple ear piercings. Nobody ever says anything to me about them. Then again I often give my "don't even think about saying anything" stare to anyone looking at me a bit strangely. The "you're dead" eye according to my partner!

my bro does mine- but hes always busy- works like 70 hours a week and has a new born at home so its all gravy im saving for a gun now- brother will teach me- but im gonna need an apprenticeship eventually and we all know how hard they are to get-

usually between my hair being ridiculously messy and my ratty shoes/clothes, people have more to comment on than my piercings. however, i've been asked why one of my lobes is big and the other is small. my answer : symmetry does not occur in nature. (yes i know, symmetry DOES occur in nature... but i prefer chaos to order anyway)

i do get lots of looks when im stretching my labret, because i like to leave the taper in my lip for a day or two before i put in the plug.

since ive moved to austin though, pretty much the wierder the better, so i blend into a crowd easily.

some woman was scared of me on friday... which was really weird, cause im the least scarey person ever... she was actually looking at me as if i was guna pounce on her.. i still dont understand it really.. and she was walkin around me reeaaally slowly while starin at me, almost as if if she made any sudden movements i wouldve attacked her...

but seriously im still confused about it... cause i really do not look scarey.. or intimidatings
