My views aren't a product of this programming. I reject much of the zionist philosophy, and I believe that while Israel needs to exist, the priority must be peace at all costs. Sure, I'll admit there are ethical issues with what Israel does, and some of Israel's policies are appalling. But I've read plenty of stuff on both sides, and my opinion is always in favour of peace. I support Israel, but I don't support militant zionism, just as I don't support militant anything.
I don't agree with a lot of what you say, but I don't dislike you.

I too, am in favor of peace, as a UNITED Israel rather than a two party state.

The zionists will be routed someday and the Middle East can settle down on that front. Unification is not as hard as it sounds, but the fact that nobody has ever tried it means theres going to be a lot of resistance.

This part of the world changes slowly. When the zionists came, it changed rapidly and for the worst. The blood has flowed ever since.

We can fix this, if they don't blow us all up beforehand.

You'll then come back and say I'm anti-Jewish. But I'm not anti-Jewish either. Never have been. I had reasons to hate them when I was growing up in a poor part of the south where they owned all the garment factories. Sweatshops, by any other name. But I never subscribed to the contempt of Jews that others had around me. I also found I couldn't hate black people. I found out I couldn't hate anyone.

I AM anti-zionist, but even then, it only concerns the political arm of zionism and not the religious one.

Only the politics of zionism concern me. Nothing else. Not the religion. Not the people who practice it. Not the color of their skin.

But for those who promote radical zionism in the US and elsewhere, I stand firmly against them for their racist idealogy and warmongering.

Let's put something in perspective, and I'll use your Aussie pespective to do it.

In Australia, you have indigenous people. Some of the oldest known on earth. But instead of respecting this elder race, white people flooded into their ancient homeland like a plague. No prophecy could have predicted the fate of those people at the hands of their new masters.

They were made strangers in their own land. Cut off from the white man's world because of the color of their skin, they lived in poverty while the white people plundered and raped the world around them.

Their culture. Their world. All scattered to the wind.

Now you know what it was like to be the indigenous dark skinned semite people of Palestine... when the white skinned non-semite zionist raiders flooded in from Europe.

So with me, only a true semite could ever call me an anti-semite. It's a matter of respect.

I know who the real semites are, and I know who the true anti-semites are.

Most of the rest of the world has been convinced just the opposite.

To me semite has always meant "Jewish" i recognize that you are using it like a tribe of people I.E. Canaanite. but you don't explain how modern Jews aren't semites.... you might as well do a little explaining seeing you started this thread loosley based around it.

P.S. you say you aren't against the Jews in a spiritual sense, then why make this thread in this forum?

 

You are aware that you're sweating semantics for no real reason, right? If you not anti-Jewish and are being called anti-Semitic, surely you can just say that, rather than demonstrating how the term "anti-Semitic" is technically inaccurate.

true, ethiopian jews are constantly targets of harrassment and discrimination from the european jews who live there. Zionist Israel is about as racist as any country can get. there's even a derogatory term used amonsgt many jews about blacks. it's known as shwarzer, even the jewish legend of the curse of ham has racist idealogy behind it.

 

why is it only people who say negatuive things about jews are antisemitic? yet people who say the same sort of stuff about arabs are not? in case anyone has forgotten, arabs are semitic. shouldn't antisemitism be applied to those who dislike either or the two? by the way, antisemitism is used far too often to silence any debate or criticism of israel or those of jewish background. why is it the self chosen can make fun of goyim and insult them all day long and the ADL never comes knocking on their door? but when gentiles treat jews the same way, its quite the opposite.

I think it's because the term "anti-Semite" emerged at a time when Jewish people were common (and/or more vilified) in English-speaking countries than Arabs, and became rooted in the language before it was widely realised that it was a stupid and inaccurate name for anti-Jewish sentiment.

I don't think the news programmes over here use the phrase "anti-Semite" much these days, they tend to use "anti-Jewish" unless they're quoting someone directly.

 

i don't think it's humorous that any one group of people no matter who they are can escape blame for the things they actually have done by screaming bigotry in all directions. for me and xexon being conspiracy theorists, it's rather odd that the people we supposedly have blind hatred towards happen to be the ones who for a long time have accused the world of a global antisemitic conspiracy against them. such paranoid people they are. but then again, we all know how much weight they pull in your home country of australia. just ask fred toben

ELIYAHU is a bit odd, tbh. I don't know that having the right to live somewhere has anything to do with the reason people object to the Israeli government's policies. It'd be pretty retarded if being anti-Israeli government ='d being anti-Jewish, just like it'd be pretty retarded if anyone who criticised the British government was deemed anti-Christian, or even anti-Britain.

I wish that America and Europe would hold these countries up to the same expectations as we do our own, rather than taking this "yeah, but they can't help it, they're religious" attitude and trying to wash their hands at it as much as possible.

 

I don't know about Aus, but I know that I've been accused of being blinded to the Jewish conspiracy by that Jewish conspiracy purely for asking for any evidence of said Jewish conspiracy. It's difficult to take it seriously.
