Why the hell do men say stuff they shouldn't?

Well if he feels bad and said he will be more cautious, then he is not stupid at all. he just made a mistake. If he feels bad, cut the guy some slack.

 

Honestly! It's like... Nothing we say, as women, about "thinking before you say something" gets through to them.

women and men think about what they say before they say it roughly equally, i think. some individuals more, some less. it has nothing to do with gender, though how it is thought about may differ (only very generally) based on gender.

still, your initial claims at the beginning of the thread are patently ridiculous and unfounded. just because some loser made insanely poorly chosen comments or jokes does not mean men don't think before they speak and does not mean women are more thoughtful. it means you found yourself with a jackass at that moment.

 

Or a pause button! In fact, we could make 'em like the teletubbies and stick a TV in their stomach. And hey, why stop there? So many possibilities! We could change their hands to cleaning tools to save time. And have a toaster in their head to use the spare space! Wow. The future will be glorious.
