It was just the lesbian stuff I guess, plus I dunno when someone can't get their stuff together and the blame goes out on women, it's a bit off putting but whatever. If I'm to blame for a large percentage of unfulfilled dudes, I'll take that to grave, and I'll be laughing in my death.

But seriously, men just humor women. This whole female empowerment thing, all it is is men humoring women. Men don't seriously look upon women as equals, or any sort of competition or a threat. It's like we're raising children. I say we, because I am a man, not because that's how I conduct myself. But I see how other men really condescend to women like they're just children, and this whole female empowerment thing is just "cute."

Then when girls actually do something, or fill a traditional male role, they're just put down.

And then some girls think they can become powerful women by fucking every guy in sight. They think then men will see them as equals, but they still don't. They'll just treat them like that to get what they want. And then when the woman is old and used up, sorry, babe, you're on your own.

Of course, there are some men who think females are fully capable of being president or anything else, and are all for it. Like me. One of us good guys. Us special ones. Special guys like me.

 

It doesn't seem like you're being humoured at all, seems like you've got a lot of angst towards women over trivial stuff too, so yeah, if you're threatened over that then that's empowerment on our behalf I feel.

 

Women becoming empowered over me is obscene, since I defended and stuck by my mother my whole life while a total misogynist abused her to death. But if women want to reject me and get empowered by putting me down, that's fine. I don't have any hate in my heart. Just sadness.

 

... But no, I am not being humored. Women largely are, though. I don't see this newfound respect for women as being genuine at all, and you can see that it isn't when you hear "locker room talk." And everyone obsessed with porn. Behind women's backs it's not the prettiest picture, let me tell you.

 

I admit I am mad at women, because I do deserve better and I don't get anything. But it's a gentle anger. When I think of all I've been through, and all women want are good looking guys who had life handed to them on a silver platter, it is a little upsetting. But not that upsetting. Mostly in this thread I've just been kidding around. Or you would call it "trolling" but my sense of humor doesn't make me a troll. That's just my sense of humor. If you don't like it, why don't you get out of America.

It's true, unfortunately, Irmi. Men do not look upon women the way men look upon other men, with the same kind of respect. It's fundamentally a respect for the intellect, as well. Men do not think women are as intellectually adept as they are. At least a very large number of them don't. I see it every day.

Women talk about empowerment, but they don't want to be in control.

truthfully i'm an egalitarian, but the attitudes of today's movement are not in the least bit egalitarian, no matter how much they swear they are. in the end, today's relationship issues are not really the fault of women, but of development and our inability to adapt to the socioeconomic changes as a culture.
