I don't prefer drinking, but it keeps things from getting to me... I think about too much shit to often, I drink and go to sleep.
i like drinking - its enjoyable i've gotten passed the past problems i've had and when i covered them up with drinking
Drinking doesn't help you from thinking about things, its just prolongs it! I drink everyday.. hence I 'drink' not get 'drunk'.. but its because I enjoy the taste of beer. There are so many different flavors and so many imported beers that are so delicious! Beyond budweiser, miller and such... on the occasion I do get shit faced but Im a happy drunk and Im always around people I know I can trust. It does just free your mind up for a bit and lets you live a little more for the now... but is very unhealthy! It all depends on the person anyway! :cheers2:
because I can flow and ride the waves and sing like a dream. I come up with some great music when I'm drunk, or at least somewhat tipsy. and it's fun, friendly, social, relaxing. It's glorious.
because it makes me loose all my stoppage..about many things. i get wilder and shit. it`s fun to get drunk at big parties..it is unnatural not to.
Scientifically speaking:- 1.Drinking switches off the conscious mind.So its like Zen Buddhist meditation. 2.Its an absolute defence to social crimes. And to others - if u claim your drinks were spiked. 3.British people are reserved. So its an excuse to "settle things" or being "sociable" 4.When u realise drinking isn't healthy, it doesnt matter.Cos u've graduated to hard drugs/become obsessed with other things/ died in a drink drive crash. 5.Lots of other reasons-a social filter.Including drinking ability being directly proportional to masculinity. BTW this response was put together with the assistance of alcohol... (like u didnt know).
You wouldn't ask this question if you had lots of friends to drink with... it's not a question that can be answered well with a nice and logical sentence.
I did.But I had to wait 5 months for the chance. I bumped into him at a party. So Mr Judge got beaten up by a drunk dressed as a giant chicken. But unfortunately I was so drunk, I didn't realise he couldn't see my face...
I don't get drunk (okay, maybe once or twice a year at a wedding or something) I drink to get a nice, relaxing buzz, help me chill out, because I tend to be a highstrung kind of person. Although I haven't been drinking much at all lately. Funny. The kids are out of school for the summer and I'm drinking next to nothing anymore. That just tells you how much BS I had to put up with this past school year. I was drinking to destress from all that crap I was dealing with. Not that I'm suddenly opposed to having a drink, I just don't seem to have a desire to lately. And hey, it's all good.
twice... in your entire life? To the OP, I thoroughly enjoy drinking. I enjoy the taste of a lot of alcoholic beverages, love the way it helps me fall asleep nicely, love the way it makes me laugh at everything, like the way it makes me more sensitive and sympathetic as a person, love the way I am more readily to express my thoughts and feelings and let someone know exactly what's on my mind (due to the lack of inhibitions..), love the way it makes me more creative and ready to talk for hours and hours and hours and hours about anything and everything. I like a lot of things about drinking.
Getting drunk can be pretty fun sometimes, especially at bars or parties, but I'm honestly not that into it. ...now getting high is totally different. A good mind trip is so much more enjoyable than being drunk. No sickness, no hangover, and you don't have to pee every 20 minutes.
