Why doesn't God allow you to worship anyone else?

As I mentioned they do not want you to worship the True God.

Yes, God did create everything and to some of those creations he gave free will.
Satan was not created Satan but used his free will to change himself into Satan. Thus although God created the being that is now known as Satan, he did not create him as Satan.

The only way God can hurt another god is to affect it's followers on earth... or did Elijah have all the worshippers of Baal put to death for fun? God could have simply defeated Baal and everyone could have lived, if it was within' His power

 

I'm 100% sure that if Jesus came back for real no-one would believe it was him. They would call him a fraud and a liar and a joke. If he did miracles like he did in the bible they would say it is a trick. They are too fixated on their holy text that anything unexpected cannot be true.

Have you even read the Bible? What was it the Satan wanted Jesus to do? Just one act of worship and Satan would give Jesus all the kingdoms of the Earth and what did Jesus say? It is only the one true God you should give your worship to. Satan doesn't care what happens to us, that is why Satan tricked Eve into eating the Fruit and thus bringing sin and death to all mankind. Satan wants all worship for himself and if he can't have that, it's good enough that we just don't worship God.

But what exactly does satan and other gods have to gain from our worship? Sure, it may inflate egos, but aside from that, why?

God's purpose is supposedly love. What would be the purpose of those other entities having us worship them?

 

Okay, but that's Satan. He's bad, we all know that. What about the good Gods? I find it hard to believe that Chronos would do any harm to us or God, He's just a big softie in charge of time. I think you pretty much hit it on the head. They are merely gods but they are not God and thus worship makes them feel like they are God.

Also you are correct God is love and acts out of love but Satan is in opposition to God and thus acts out of hatred, thus if Satan can't have the worship then he doesn't want God to have it, even though Satan knows that humans would actually benefit from worshiping God.
