I think it should also be noted that there are many Israelis who are completely against all that has happened over the last 60 years. I don't think anyone with any sense of fairness and social justice can honestly look at what has happened and say that it's ok (assuming that they know the facts and some don't). That takes a special kind of blindness.....one that apparently our entire Senate possesses since it voted 100-0 to support this slaughter.

This will never be forgotten in that region.

The fact that it went 100 to 0 is interesting. Would you suppose that all 100 of them voted their conscience or did they vote for what's good for themselves as politicians?

One way or another, it's really quite a sick situation isn't it. Coud it be that they knew that to vote the wrong way on this thing would assure their end in politics? Is it that powerful?

Or could it be that they knew that it was going to be a big majority one way and that a few dissents would mean nothing?
