Got it moonglow. Even though I personally don't feel that anyone can be afforded the luxury of not caring. History should tell us all that when people don't care, bad things happen and then we sometimes have to look back and say we should have cared. You've heard it before, or at least a variation thereof: they came for the gays but I didn't care because they didn't come for me. then they came for the jews and I didn't care because they weren't coming for me. then they came for......... well, you get the picture. Your choice to make, continue to not care. I'll be watching you to make sure that you really don't.
You can handle this moonglow. And you can't do any worse in trying than the other empty bottles have done so far!
Thanks for your kind offer but you've already been doing enough. And if that wasn't a friendly offer then I would suggest that you consider how you could do less.
Agreed..... One must certainly weigh the logic of initiating a rocket campaign against such a formidable power........ What would be the odds of success of a rocket campaign? ... What would be the cost of Arab civilian casualties in such a gamble? What of the logic of using schools, hospitals & shrines as weapons depots? Why was the proposed Egyptian cease fire rejected by Hamas? Yes, Hamas was elected by the people of Gaza. Did the Gaza electorate receive what they expected?
Desperation. The actions of people who have been so desperate for so long that they feel they have nothing to lose.
I never said that it was all fantasy what I said was that just because it talks about some things that are factual does not make everything in it fact just like how modern books reference actual events places and people but are still works of fiction and not suitable for a debate on a conflict
Yes, that's what makes Hamas freedom fighters and not terrorists. Fight the Zionist tyranny now or forever be enslaved by it.
It be easy to side with one side over the other if they both weren't so flawed. It's hard to say u side with Palestine without also siding with Hamas. The same can be said with Israel.
I don't think that both sides are flawed...not equally flawed anyway. One side had their land and homes stolen, are having their water stolen, are basically caged and bombed with nowhere to go and are allowed very limited resources and supplies. So they are forced to dig tunnels and some of the things brought in are missiles which they desperately and uselessly fire across their prison wall because the world powers have shown them that they can expect no help whatsoever. The "peace process" is a joke and any deal that will ever be accepted by Israel will be one that is heavily slanted in its favor. I can see why they're pissed.
It's background. Doesn't prove anything obviously as far as validity of claims but it does explain some of the current thinking, for some, in making the claims in the first place.
You get it! While dark sugar hasn't enough interest in the issue, or the violation of basic human rights to even delve any deeper than the propaganda being spoonfed to her/him? Most people find it much easier to just not try to find out the truth. This thread is an attempt to change that a little, even if it is in a very small way. If only to embarrass those who say the don't care, into showing that they do and must.
