That is true, the ads and the models are very unrealistic, I miss the old school days when models where normal looking women and not some coke fiend looking stick.

Sex is one of about four basic human urges. Eating/drinking, sex, sleep, breathing...

It's the desire which keeps our species surviving, it's the most fun of the basic urges. (unless the food wonderful and the sex is bad) If people didn't think about sex all the time, the human race would become extinct.

Well I kinda agree that it's disgusting and demeaning to have Sex so blatently in our face in all the various media forms but it could be worse...What if people were obsessed with bowel habits and there were turds everywhere? What if the sense of smell was the big deal and their were pictures of noses all over, everything is sratch and sniff...who knows, just saying it could be worse

 

Its sad to say that morals were thrown out the window years ago. Sad to see so many girls try to look just like the girls that they see in ads. When they are fine the way they are.Yes, sex sells but that does not mean that everything as to be about sex. Sadly it is though. I can honestly say that I am one of those girls that does not care weather I look like the girls that are in ads and proud of it. We are all different for a reason and should be proud of who we are. Not like the people that we see in ads that have been airbrushed and look way to skinny as a result. Though that is just my option.

Insecure women are not a thing of this age, either. It's part of the evolutionary way things go. Same with skinny women.

How fucking old ARE you, then? I've seen some unhealthy thin gals in ancient art, from north africa, europe, and meso/south america, the orient.... And more recently, all through the last three centuries, in all sorts of ads, illustrations, and the like.

I guess if you're from the middle ages, midevil art didn't show much unhealthyness.... But that's because it sucked too bad to accuratly show ANYTHING.

I'm with you, MayQueen. Sex is overrated. Wonderful, but overrated. I don't understand why so many people choose to base their lives around sex.

 

Sex is fun. I think she just has a problem with it for the same reason I do. Whenever you look at the current threads page it is commonly flooded with sexual threads. "Girls would you ever..." or "Guys how big is your...". It seems out of context too, because right next door to the thread is one about lybia being bombed or something. It doesn't bother me to the point of complaining about it, mainly because I like it in a way too. It allows it all to collage into one big page full of randomness.

I mean don't get me wrong. I want to talk about something serious, I'm never in the mood to stroke my penis while looking at a computer monitor. I honestly do not know how guys can do that. But the guys that do, well they aren't hurting anyone...I hope, and SOME of them are legit hippies. Most of them are just lurkers who create a new profile every few days and troll the sex forums, not trolling for anger so much. Trolling for anonymous sexual involvement.

Idk its all in type anyway. As long as they aren't flashing porn in the threads, it doesn't matter to me too much.

lol I've only smoked weed 3-4 times since December of 2009, when I was living in the homeless shelter. I've been to broke to buy weed and I only associate with one other pothead. It just so happens, both of us are on probation and don't want to risk a dirty pisstest, as we'd both go to jail. Not to mention the fact that I'm trying to find a job. Fuckin pre-employment drug screens

 

But yeah....I'd take weed and/or psychedelics over sex any day of the week.

 

Worst of all, they are all about quantity, not quality. Most of it in the media is nothing but a big tease.

 

All that fuss, grunting, groaning, moaning, sweating, belly farts.....bad breath, farting, huffing and puffing, all for three seconds of pleasure?.....;-D
