Drugs knock down the barriers, make you see things clearly( although to those whop do not take drugs...this veiw seems most unclear) but once you feel it you know. It is a world less corrupted by symbol systems, and a way to get back to yourself

look, life's just like you're stuck with strangers in a really big room. there are several ways out of the room, and they are easy to get to and get through, BUT YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT'S ON THE OUTSIDE! and that's fucking scary! so, you're stuck in this room for all your life, with a lot of people, you like some of them. isn't it your right to get a little place for yourself (with eventual friends), help other people if they need it (and you CAN help them), listen to your music, write, read, whatever, just have FUN? if some of the things you do might get you a one way ticket to the outside, so be it. we're all going there some time.

I was always intrigued by psychedelics from a very young age. I'm so into fantasy, sci-fi, and really anything of the imagination and the prospect of embarking on some sort of journey outside of this reality was just enthralling. When the opportunity stared me down cold in college I knew there was no denying it. I quit for a little bit because I was really doing it for the wrong reasons at the wrong time, but I'm looking forward to exploring myself and my mind once again very soon.

I use the drugs I use (which are strictly natural because I am a hippie) because I get great spiritual and person insights like never before. I relize things about the world and about my self that are good life-lessons to take along with me on the way to enlightenment.
