Why do we have to pay for everything?

and I must say i like being a woman. I had to buy tires the other week and i wore a low cut shirt that day on purpose and pouted when the manager (i always ask for the manager for this to work) told me how much they were, i told him iw orked with kids (that adds to the game) and don't make a lot and I got 2 400 dollar tires for 350 bucks...my reciept said i paid 800 but he billed my card for 350. I am under the influence at the moment so I am easily admitting this ask me tommorow and ill deny that i ever do this.

 

i agree with this. when people want your stash, they do what they can to get it.. it's not always girls flirting to get what they want, different people have different ways of manipulating others.. we ALL know how to manipulate people, to some extent (in general, not necessarily to get bud). some people get all instantly buddy-buddy with you, and once you smoke with them, they're gone.. it's still being fake to get what you want. i guess a lot of the hot chicks have just learned over time that flirting gets them what they want. and when you give in to it, you're only proving them right. there are some people who will use their stash to try and attract their interest, too... like, "oh, you're hot, you'll spend time with me while we smoke, so i'll ask you to smoke with me, 'cause it's the only way you'll spend time with me." and that doesn't say much for either party.

a while ago, my roommate and i were hanging out with some people, and this girl gives him a big grin and sweetly asks him for a beer (both to have one of his, and for him to get it for her). he totally called her out on it, refused her a beer, and said her behavior was annoying and proved how pathetic she is. i recall some sort of hooker comparison, too. she was embarassed, but my roomie was SO on point and right about it, it was just beautiful... and hilarious.

hey, I get paid less than men in my position, I got my ass grabbed on the subway last year, I get 'hollared at' when I go running and I have men stare at my tits when I'm wearing clothing that covers me up. I am sure as shit taking my female benefits where I can get them as long as I'm not hurting or manipulating anyone. I've never 'used' a boyfriend or significant other and I've dated men who are both wealthy and not wealthy at all but in everyday life I'm going to use it to my advantage since being a woman puts me at a disadvantage so much.

 

well, and i can't count how many times i was taken advantage of by car mechanics; thankfully i had my exremely capable and somewhat terrifying mother to look out for my interests. now i have dave. honestly, i've tried to educate myself on car maintenance, but after working the oilfield for a while, i concede defeat to technical and mechanical arts.

 

Aaahhh. So finaly we have a woman who does it, realises that it is a female advantage, and is inebriated enough to admit it. And for those of you who think that men can do the same thing, try to picture a man saying this about women.

Thank you for your honesty, Lynsey. It is refreshing. But you are in denial if you think that getting 450 bucks off of your tires isn't manipulating anyone.

So the next time a guy pretends to be sensitive and whatever to get some off a woman and never calls, should I just say "hah! noone forced her to follow her.... er... whatever it is that makes you chicks get off on chocolate, bad movies, historical romances and shoe shopping!"

 

exactly. I've never manipulated a boyfriend or any guy I care about but mechanics are sleaze balls so what's the harm in scamming them they scam all the time...I used this on the vet before too a couple of years back though lol but I really did not have the money then at all and my dog got hit by a car. I got a 8k vet bill down to 1,500 but I was honestly pouting then it wasn't fake.

So basically it's OK for you women to be manipulative so-and-so's cause the men basically deserve it and are all assholes. But that one or two you truly CARE about you don't want to manipulate.

Actually that is the kind of attitude that runs this world really. Sadly , our consciousness is so limited that we don't even realize if we did something wrong, but you cannot blame her, she is not able to see her faults just like we are not able to see ours.

 

Okay, so if you manipulate people whom you don't care about , it is okay. What else?- you manipulate a guy through your sexual charms to get what you want and call him an asshole. Yea you got some logic there.


So lets say some guy tells a girl that he loves her , sleeps with her alot . So , he can declare her a slut? is it okay to do that?

 

You have quite a remarkable family, KC. But even you probably can't picture your brothers saying something like this about women. And if you can, I'm amazed, but not convinced. They are in the minute minority.

And noone was saying anything about force. We were talking about manipulation, a much subtler way to take advantage of people.
