I think the states needs a change so that more than 2 parties matter. It gives the 2 that matter now too much power, which is more corrupting than the existence of political parties on itself.

 

Oh, you're aware of them? Can you name a single democrat who either directly supports the KKK agenda or those who do? And how did you become "aware" of them?

 

You are right. It does, and that may be why we were forewarned about the dangers of political factions/parties. I think they should be banned entirely. Politicians should be forced to stand on their own merit or fall on their political faces.

Political parties should be banned? I find it inconceivable that a nation of any size could maintain a democracy without them. Parties serve as a means of aggregating diverse, interests, mobilizing voters, selecting candidates, and facilitating governance. Political parties developed in George Washington's administration, under the very noses of the Founders, and soon those gentlemen were involved: Adams' Federalists versus Jefferson and Madison's Democratic Republicans, with a level of partisan nastiness that probably exceeds that of our own parties. You're living in a fantasy world.
