hippies are allowed to have whatever hair they want right? well, but originally i think it was about rebelling against tradition standards and such things as that. i personally like the long hair, but you can't judge a hippie solely on the hair ________________
I keep trying to get my fiance to grow his hair out. I know he would look sexy with long hair. He was hot with long sideburns (couldn't keep my hands off him) too. Of course he's sexy no matter what way his hair is, I just try to get him to experiment more. It's what it's all about, eh?
Well spoken! That's all I've been trying to say. You say it so kindly though. Many of the "originals" have short hair now, but still the same beliefs..the same soul. Really seems harsh to judge them because of a haircut.
Short haired people can't be hippies? All bigotry is sad. Hair-based "bigotry" is sad and just weird.
really try 2 gruuve yoh Hairz there Idohhoian, an cee wut yoh Iohdohohian neiborez have to sah hhay bout it to U?
A thought of the guy bellow - "geee, it's all about looks....better cancel the haircut, or the next album will be a flop"..............
Only One, you're a smart guy. I think you know I'm just "teasing" you. I admire the fact that you have "yoh hairz" the way you want. I've never been against hair. I just don't have much now. That's what is really sad. I'm probably jealous of the cool dreds. BTW, my neighbors probably would ignore the hair. The've got used to all our cats, my disapproval over their ritual consumption of charred red meat, and my Green Party politics...they're desensitized now..hehe
thankz, flatery vill get Uh everywhere vit me or anyone, i knew you wood come back to me, any way wutz happenin wit yoh straight neighborz all around in Idohhoho. How are U goin to change them into nice an normal hip Plantenistz?
Think the question shouldn't be: "Why do Hippies have long hair?" but: "Why do Hippies have hair?" What is *long*? What does it mean? I remember once a guy coming from the south of Germany, a cousin of a friend of mine, when the day was done and we were sitting in a wonderful bar in Berlin, he said: "Oh Boy, this was a long day." So I'm wondering: what is longer? My hair - or the day. Consequently we have to ask ourselfes: "Why is a Hippie's day long?" and: "Are the days for Un-Hippies shorter - or even *very long*?" Or: "Does the length of hair relate to the length of the day?"
My hair isn't long. Am I conforming? What's is your definition of "conforming"? After all, where I am, it's the style for both young men and women to have long hair.
