Why do giraffes have long necks?

Giraffes seem very quiet. Why don't they say something?

they can't speak because they have dead, gangrenous tongues. thats why the tongues are all black.

I like them. They're cool. If I was an animal, I'd want to be a giraffe. I think. I went to an open plains zoo once and we got to play with a giraffes there and they were awesome.

 

i dunno, a giraffe would be cool....

i think being a giant squid or a sloth might be cooler, though

ahahahah. An obese giraffe would be a monster!

 

i want to give giraffes, bears, and sloths some wings, and the ability to fly.
