Why did you originally join HipForums?

that happened to me at one point. i got database errors or something for a month or two and assumed the site was done. then one day it was back and there were posts from the whole time i was unable to get in. i would have guessed it was something on my end, but some other people posted about the same thing having happened to them, so i have no idea what was up with that.

it's good to take a break from forums from time to time anyway.

Agreed. Though, a lot of my 'sprinkles', I would kinda rather not exist...

 

because it was there. and i needed a unisex bathroom stall to rant on where everyone could see it. well i also grew up in the 60s, entered the adult world in the 70s and was over 30 in the 80s.

once upon a time there was a site called zenbazaar, that links to all sorts of neat places, sometime back in the early 90s. one of them was to here.

also because i'm an eco-scialist anarcho-pacifist and an errascable and liscentious missanthorp and proud of it. although i've sort of lost interest in the liscentious and never really gave a rat about recreational substances either.

but i AM more interested in the kind of world i'd rather be living in then in what anyone thinks of me as a person.

i do believe the most important thing is to not screw everything up for each other.

i had just heard about salvia, and well its legal so i tried to look some things about it on the web ...

then i run across shit like erowid and similar forums like these i had never heard of... hell i really had no idea you could find this kind of stuff on the web ... so i thought wow this is my place

so i lurked around a bit, registered in a few forums but im still very very paranoid about posting about this kind of stuff ... so i stick to the very legal 'random thoughts' section

The name of the place caught my attention

 

i joined hipforums many moons ago. my boyfriend had found the site when he googled "weed butter recipes" and we ended up using a recipe that came from this site. Later, i joined and mostly wanted advice about my sexuality and confused state of life in general.

 

to learn about research chems, but i quickly found much more

 

i was using google to stalk a member from another forum...i had to join to see the profile page

I got bored with the previous forum I used to post on, as there wasn't much intelligent discussion on it,
and was hunting around for new ones.

I think I found hip from the now defunct google web directory, and liked the idea of chatting with
hippie-minded people, though obviously not everyone here has that mindset.

what I like about this site is there's room for everyone's views
