Just saw it on a search for something else and clicked the link...still a bit ambivalent whether I'll continue with participation . Have given up social media and it seems to be more of the same but will give it a fair trial

    But, how do we know?
Can't just reach down and do the Crocodile Dundee grab test! Haha
Is there a list, so I know who isn't?

Ask me, although from their posts it is obvious.
Plus the avatars are easily traced.

Years ago around 2008 I found it in a search.
Had an account, but lost password kinda just fell off for awhile.
Still can't remember old name here.
But recently came across forum again, and made new account.
Kina forgot how enjoyable it is here!

nostelgia i guess. for which reason i was looking for stuff about woodstock, partially because i was never there but turned 21 in 69, literally.
found a place called zen bazaar that had a bunch of hippie architecture stuff, and a lync to here.

still have my own dreams about a kind of hippie utopia in which you could build and live in wierd shelters, of your own creative design, and built with your own skills.
every village right next to each other had their own different cultures, ideologies and beliefs,
and there was so much nearly free public transportation, no one would have to indenture themselves for a car either,
land for shelter and agriculture was free, although some things different too, like more aesthetic and more respect for the diversity of nature and the land,
resource piles arranged neatly or screened from view by creative enclosure for them too,
and no one hating logic nor trying to tell each other what to pretend about what isn't known,
and yet a kind of respect for spirit places, where otherworldliness is felt strongly, but again without trying to tell each other what or how to feel or experience about them.

(and all the and so one that today's fans of autocracy who are trying to pretend to be us are pretty much the total opposite of, though some of them might not realize they are)
(there was a time when there was some of that became common here, which turned me off and i stayed away until it became once again less common)

I had just got home from a Confest. This the biggest hippy festival gathering in Australia. Anyway I decided to look for more hippy gatherings and this place showed up. I have tried getting regular attendees of Confest to come here , explaining it is like a Confest on the Internet.

I joined HF close to 20 years ago now. Probably for the drug reports and music and just overall good vibes. It was a different time.

I first joined HipForums over 20 years ago when it was still called Hippyland. I wanted to re-connect with my hippie roots and a search found me the site.

At first I participated sporadically, but then 9/11 changed that and I got more involved. So after 22 years I'm still going strong!

To talk to other nudists. I don't know any and my wife's not on board with it.

And to talk about her. I live in the Love and Sex and Bare It boards.
