Why are guys so fucking complicated?

This thread is too funny for public consumption. Post above was spot on about the whole situation. Add to that the fact that guys over time build a general impression of girls based on personal experience, while girls tend to cling to these 'standards' given by society that bear no relation to natural human interaction. The result is numerous situations like the OP's, where one side pursues what should be practical relationship building while the other keeps trying to recreate some scene from a romance novel.

I've met very few women who understood that life is much much easier without the games, and they were always older women (30s). Heres to holding out hope for a younger woman of wisdom.:afro:

women are lazy. horribly socially spoiled. think they're god's gift to men. and only wanna fuck "tall dark and handsome men" despite any personality flaws or ill treatment they receive (in fact, some convince themselves this is more exciting or 'attractive traits' of a powerful mate).

Errggh, its you guys more than the chics. They only want to fuck tall, dark and handsome? So far from the truth, they look like Brad Pitt and they'll just want that type as the trophy husband, or Johnny Depp cos he's so pretty, so sweet, would make the perfect husband, soooo gay (in a non-homo context), yawn. And what was the end result of Pitt, he's now stuck in daddy day care mode, one of the most boring guys on the planet.

All those guys that stress about hair loss, complain girls only want tall, dark (by dark meaning dark hair, full head of hair) and handsome. Where do you get that from?

Jason Statham is one of the hottest guys on the planet, he's not all that tall and bald, but all muscly and manly, thus because he's bald and bulgy just looks like one big walking penis.

And all the footy players, of whatever code for the most part arent hansome, dont have pretty heads but all have bodies that looked like someone tried to stuff too much sausage meat into the sausage skin...dont have all those many girls taking them seriously as husbands, but will get a bunch of girls lining up outside their hotel rooms

Girls are socially spoiled? They do that act dumb thing cos it works so well, guys will lap it up cos its not threatening to that sensitive male ego.

Personality flaws in a guy that got the girl they wanted? Its not like there are ever going to be objective about that.

In the end theres no difference between a male deciding between a Kristen Stewart type thats the pretty girl next door, trophy wife that just wants to get romantic and cuddle and all that boring shit vs the Meagan Fox type that probably would be a whole lot better ( for a girl ) at fucking your brains out......and a girl deciding between the trophy husband like Brad Pitt and the one like Statham that would cause them not to be able to walk properly for a week.

Well, there is one difference, the girls are a whole lot sneakier about it, which is why most guys are clueless. But apart from that its the same, land the perfect long term partner only to get bored silly then get pissy at the sex objects. Or land the sex object only to get insecure and threatened by all the competition.

I am almost sure if given the choice I would pick Kristen Stewart for fun in the sack, though I find Meagan Fox more attractive.

No, I don't think I need to live that moment. We're all quite aware that the only way for a guy to "respect" you is if you string him on just as long as you can, because people who act on their urges and emotions don't deserve respect.

But people who DON'T act on those urges and emotions and who are generally stuck in victorian england go home alone

 

For the record, I'm guessing that most of the somewhat negative responses you got to your post (including mine) are a direct result of having experienced the kind of scenario you described, first hand, from the male perspective. I'm glad you resolved to handle things a little different next time. Life is very, very short - and confusing enough without needlessly complicating things further.

 

this is gonna be completely off topic but i gotta say it anyway---jason fucking statham is one of the ugliest fucking shits ever been born. and his acting skills are completely nonexistent, wandering from one film to another with the exact same expression on his face from the title to end credits. if it's 'muscly and manly' you're impressed by in him, there are many other guys out there that deliver that on a whole better level.
