correct me if i'm wrong, but was it b/c she gets way too drunk and acts like an idiot, and is trying to make you influence your buddy to be nice to his ex?

well don't fucking date a 15 year old then. she's immature dude. she shouldn't fucking be getting drunk with you and your scum bag buddies. . . fucking you in some jamacian dude's bedroom in downtown where people are getting stabbed. maybe she was messed up to begin with, but i don't really see how you are helping her. i know i don't know you guys, i'm just going on what you've told us

You've convinced me it is though.

Let me make myself 100% clear... you have NO (thats ZERO) right to physically lay your hands on ANY woman, regardless of your relationship to her.

One day, you will do this around somebody like me, and you will discover why it doesn't feel nice to have someone who is angry thinking they have the right to physically express that anger to you.

All in all, i must admit- you probably SHOULD trust your girlfriend more.

But then in saying that my ex got pissed and shagged somebody else, she hooked up with him first in front of all my friends when I was in work on a late shift. So equally, in the same breath, I know how hard to it to trust somebody drunk and ask them not to do anything stupid.

It's your life, you could have handled it better, but worse. Glad it is all over for you.

PS people, I used to get punched around by this same girl, had a telephone thrown at a room distance strait in my face by her 'cos I was late seeing her, and although I never touched her let me assure you it all goes both ways.

She gets so stupid when she's drunk. I can't even have a serious conversation with her when she's like that.

And she was mad at me for not telling my friend to stop being a dick to his ex. Which he wasn't even doing.

She says "he's not aloud to come drink with us anymore when I'm with you".. I didn't even know what to say to that... She was basically telling me I can't get drunk with my best friend who I've known since grade 6 because she doesn't like him.

She goes on all the time about how much she hates him and how much she wants to punch him in the face... So whats worse, me grabbing her by the arm and trying to console her? Or her going up to my friend and decking him in the face for no reason?

I'm not gonna break up with her. I really like her.

I like her so much.. I'm just a very jealous/paranoid person and I'm trying to get over it but I just like her so much that my mind won't let it go.

I'm not gonna break up with her just because of my insecurities.

 

The following is speculation:

She's looking to change you, to pick your friends. Seems that she very well may "need" to control you as much as you "need" to control her. At such a time as she gets her shit together and stop drinking and doing drugs I bet dollars to donuts that it will be your job to quit as well.

When you made the point of how little you care for your ex was it us you were trying to convince or was it you?

I feel very strongly that to be in a healthy relationship you must first learn to be happy with yourself-- and be able to be single.

 

I'm trying to convince the people here. They keep saying to go back to her, but that ship sailed a long time ago.

She tried to ruin me after I left her. I'll never forgive her for that. I didn't want the break up to be as messy as it was, but she had to be immature about it.

I know if I was in her shoes I'd be pissed though... I don't think leaving her was wrong though... I couldn't lie to her and say I loved her when I was constantly thinking about someone else.

I agree with this. Silly teenagers and even some older people cant learn to stay single for a minute and realize and find themselves. They feel like they always need someone and that is not healthy.

In my time of being single now. I learned that theres many many scum bags out there, jerks, assholes, controllers.
