Actually, AIDS is passed via bodily fluids, such as blood & semen. The reason it can be so easily passed via Anal Sex is that the cell membane is extremely thin & will invariably split, causing minor bleeding. It is in this blood that AIDS is passed, not the foecal matter.
I was not impling that the presence of fecal matter contributes to the passing of the virus. What I was implying (saying actually) is that it is this aspect of anal sex that makes it dangerous. We are basically saying the same thing - your "split" is my "fissure" and it is through this that the virus enters the blood stream. The split doesn't even have to bleed - the virus can transfer directly from infected semen.
