Obama said if he knew where Bin Laden was in Pakistan, if he would strike if the Pakistanit government didn't get approval, which he said he would.

He never said he would 'go after' the nation of Pakistan, which was your implication.

I too support a strike on Bin Laden, even if it wasn't approved (which is a hypothetical scenario) by the nation of Pakistan.

 

I'm with Spence as usual. Obama also remarked that he would withdraw out of Iraq (in time) and refocus on Al Queda and Afghanistan, which is precisely where our troops should have been structured in the first place.

If I were in those shoes, I would go after Bin Laden, Al Queda, the Taliban, and any sanction involved with 9/11 with or without approval of the other country, but it certainly would be more diplomatic to be in cooperation with said country, in this case Pakistan.

Yes, in the hypotetical case where we knew were Bin Laden was, hopefully our allies Pakistan would assist us with information leading to his capture.

I agree, but does this mean we are destined to live in fear and mistrust of every politician that comes along in our lifetime simply due to their occupation? Because there have been honest and fair politicians in history, not perfect mind you, but trustworthy at least.

I am not saying that Obama is it, but I would trust him far sooner than I would trust McCain. McCain will keep us in Iraq for another hundred years, wasting billions of US dollars and military occupancy that would be far better served elsewhere.
