first of all, when asked if ringo was one of the best drummers in the world, paul replied 'heck i dont even think hes the best drummer in the band.'
so i would say john bonham, buddy rich, ginger baker, keith moon, neil peart and many others. they arent the best, but they are great. everyone plays a different style. you cant catagorize them all when some play jazz some rock and some metal.

LOL! That's pretty damn funny. I have never been all that impressed with Ringo's "skills" with the Beatles. I mean, I'm more impressed with some of the drum work that Paul McCartney did on his solo work.
