err shes so shite she shouldn't even be called a drummer in opinion, from what i've heard anyway, lol
I hear Jack White likes her because she drums like a 5 year old. Pretty accurate if you ask me. And has anyone mentioned Ian Paice? I know he's not the best, but he should be up there.
okay, I agree.... Meg isn't the greatest drummer in town, but shes not a bad drummer. Heer style of drumming is one of those things that make the White Stripes the White Stripes
well this is harder cuz jazz is where all the really good drummers are so really the drummer i pick isnt the best drummer ever cuz that my friends is buddy rich. for rock n roll its not about the talent its really about the feel and the groove the drummer creates and i say only one man had a groove that could not be matched by anyone else and that is John Henry Bonham. now if we went with pure talent itd be Steve Gadd but I'm not sure if you would consider him a rock n roll drummer so pure talent in rock n roll bands itd be between Neil Peart, Virgil Donati, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Terry Bozzio.
There is so many brilliant drummers, all as good as one another. I dont know now so much, but in the past cosy powell and ginger baker where too of the best.
Bonham, and thats always the end of the drummer discussion. Its the number two that is the real debate! Spencer Dryden Mitch Mitchell Terry Bozio
Everyone who has listened to Quadrophenia knows that Keith Moon was the greatest drummer that ever lived. That psycho is untouchable.
