lol... i got these three quotes about keith from his biography book im readin...

"keith had the blue lena imported from england, acquired a bright yellow dino ferrari, and arranged for the weekly delivery of top grade heroin, cocaine and hashish."

"keith and anita never returned to switzerland. claude nobbs, who was in charge of moving all of their stuff back to london, asked a mutual friend to clean up before the movers came. he found more than fifty grams of cocaine, fifty grams of heroin, and hashish in industrial quantities, as well as some five hundred syringes scattered about the premises."

"two weeks later, on december 14, french police finally raided nellcote, reportedely turning up enough cocaine, heroin and hashish to hang a long sentence on the human riff"

Layne Staley, hands down. I made an account just so I could post that. Besides the fact that almost all of AIC's songs are about drug use, Staley just did a shit load of junk throughout his entire musical career until he reached a point where he wouldn't leave his house. His liver was removed and he lost all his teeth weeks before he even died on a cocaine/H overdose.

the doors, jimi hendrix etc where in it searching for enlightment, they were more into psychedlics... later in their lifes jim became an alcoholic and jimi a pill addict, however keith was into it for the heck of it, for the thrills, he was a druggie, he was more into heroin, cocaine, quaaludes and hashish than lsd, dmt, mushrooms and cannabis...
