This could be argued forever but you're point of view is that when a third party comes into a relationship there has to be problems for which both the original couple have to take blame.
Well lets take the everyday example of the succesful businesman who build up a business over a period of 20 years with the help and support of his wife.
So they are now in their 50's and not looking as young as they once did, anyway the new secretary makes advances towards her boss and he wanting to recapture his youth falls madly in love with 20 something blondie secretary.
Mid life crisis man decides to leave wife for blondie.
Now if I understand your arguement correctly the wife (who worked hard to support her husband and raise their children) is partly to blame for all of this.
I don't see how (perhaps because she aged, perhaps because she did not have cosmetic surgery to make herself "look fresh") but that is what I think you are trying to get across. That in relationship breakdowns there are no innocents.

Mr. X, I did not use absolute statements in the second post.

My two posts are not separate from each other. Please take into consideration my first post where I clearly stated: "Or he's a manwhore. NOT the other girl." In this case, the wife may not be blamed for his actions at all and understandably there are are good people who are terribly hurt. The secretary is (hypothetically) unattached? And if she is? That speaks for itself. Either way, the issue is NOT with the secretary.

It's with the husband who is bound to his wife, and who breaks his vows.

 

I guess the moral of the story is that lust makes people do bad things.
It goes back to the strength of the original relationship, if it is good in all areas then usally no big boobed blonde sex kitten is going to damage it.
To me a relationship is something that will forever have to be worked at (by both parties), very rarely will a relationship go the distance without some serious make overs.
Guess at the end of the day AllieCat was pissed off and wanted us all to rally around her. Whoever was at fault does not really matter but what matters is that she did not get to deeply into a relationship with someone that did not love her.
I for one hope that she has learned something out of this and will become a better judge of people for it.

Yeah I was sterotyping there and I do apologise for that but I think everyone understands that this was just an example.
I actually prefer brunettes but I do not have a problem with other hair colours.
