The book of James did not exist when Genesis was created so to refer to it is really dumb.

A & E could not be tempted by sex as it has good and evil aspects and they could not have known of sex.

The so called sin was disobedience of God's stupid command that would have A & E remain stupid. Thank God Eve ignored that really stupid God.

As the Jews wrote, Eden was truly a place for man's elevation. Not his fall.

That we violate the power of god is an arrogant belief. Gods will and mans will are the same, that we have life and have life abundantly.

Jesus did not exist when genesis was created so in your terms it is dumb to make reference to christain teaching in relation to genesis What is dumb is refusing to compare or communicate ideas. The dumb are without the ability or refuse to speak.

Man is not interested in killing all those who do not kowtow to him the way God is. We are not that insane.

Do not lower man to the low moral standards that Christianity has set for their God.

Most of us have better morals than that God and that is why his laws are ignored by all who can think.

James and Genesis are both talking about something that is as true now as it was 6000 years ago. "Man's elevation" is really man's delusion. Man is still working for future rewards to make things good. To give up working for reward, but to work for the sake of work, is to give up the ego, to give up delusion. That is grace.

Didn't you yourself acknowledge that those moral standards come from us man (and that you don't believe in this literal interpretation)? So how do we lower man by acknowledging the same thing.

Do you think the morals of ancient men apply to today?
Have we not improved on what was known 3,000 years ago?

Do you hear any Christian wanting to follow biblical law instead of what we now have.

You do not. Christians are immoral but not that immoral.

Relying on grace means kowtowing to God and Christianity would have it no other way as that means that you kowtow to men in dresses and keep putting money in their basket.

So, to become as Gods, Gods own words, is to believe in a delusion. I agree. Bible God is pure immoral delusion.

It can be argued they are beaten in the immorality game by certain non christians :p Not saying it is a competition or should be viewed like that (that's why your morality threads that solely focus on christians but not with their general morals but specific morals of a christian minority are flawed by default and never totally honest or objective).

Yet arguments against are near non-existing.

That tells me I am basically correct and that Christians are basically immoral.

Relying on grace is like depending on a huckleberry bush to feed you. Does the bush demand kowtowing or money?

    Show otherwise.

Put meat on your doubt for a change.
You make noise but never say anything. That is the art of deception and insecurity in what one knows. It is childish.

So if we are not interested in hearing it, why do you keep saying it?

Do not lower christians to the standards you expect from them.

    God is not mocked.
