Why are dogs better than cats? My cat hasn't destroyed anything and is quiet. My bf's dog barks all the time and annoys the neighbors and it is destructive.
Dogs are needy and annoying. If I wanted something totally dependent on me and needed constant affection, then I would just have a kid. Also, dogs are dirty and smell bad.
lol... puppies are cute and I do actually like some dogs. I just think it's silly to say dogs are ok, but cats aren't or cats are allowed and dogs aren't. It makes more sense to me to have either pets are allowed or they aren't.
Cat stink happens more often than dog stink. It's stronger and harder to get rid of. And since the advent of leash laws for cats, people use litterboxes for their cats and many are unreliable about cleaning them and making sure the stink doesn't stain.
it doesn't seem to be much of a problem around here. this is the first apartment i've had that doesn't allow pets, and even though i'm petless, i noticed when apartment hunting that about half of the apartments i checked out allowed any pets, and a few allowed cats only. i'm sure it's not because the apartment manager is worried about the cat's well being...
It's got to be a pretty well behaved dog. But dogs are better cuz they go outside to do there busness. I have a 3rd story condo that I rent so the cat would never be able to get out. I don't like the idea of a cat not being able to go out so I don't rent to that.
