oh lots diogenes of sinope, hunter s thompson, daron malakian, mark twain, ect. you know moralist figures in a strange way, some arguably very strange but i feel that they all have great things to say
Wade Davis, Mark Plotkin, the late Richard Evans Shultes, all explorer of the old school sort. Men who went alone to wild unexplored places to find knowledge and share it with the world...men who did not harm the people they encountered but enriched their lives in sustainable ways. Other heros are next door, down the road or in the jungles somewhere, decent moms and dads raising their kids with love, care and pride. Heros are also those young souls waking up to their world, finding a good way to make their place in it....I'm lucky I get to see many of my heros every day.
My hero is Abraham Lincoln . I think he is one of the best presidents we ever had .I admire him for his humanity ,humility and his humbleness.
I don't idolize other people, but if I had to pick someone I'd say Bill Hicks hands down. Socrates as well. He was a badass.
i wouldnt say i have any heroes buut i def have immense respect for oscar wilde, albert hoffman and benjamin franklin to name a few..all awesome dudes in my book
It takes a lot to be a hero, I'd say Gandhi & the buddha are up there hahahah. pretty much anyone who changes people's lives for the better while doing whatever they love and being good people are heroes to me.
