Choosing one would be an insult so here is my list: Adam Jones Larry Ler LaLonde Carlos Santana Eric Clapton Robert Fripp is also a great guitarist
1. Hendrix. He is undeniably the greatest of all time in my opinion. He would be the greatest of all time if he came along NOW, not even considering the fact that at the time, he BLEW EVERYONE ELSE COMPLETELY OUT OF THE WATER. 2. Jimmy Page. Amazing solos, riffing, and songwriting. 3. SRV. The only other guitarist I've ever seen with the same combination of soul and technical skill as Hendrix. Mad props to Clapton, David Gilmour, EVH, and many more.
In no particular order; Link Wray, Pete Townshend, Reeves Gabrels, Mark Knopfler, David Gilmour, and of course the holy Beck-Clapton-Page Triangle...
Let's not forget the little 14 year old guitar hero rockin a garage near you! Peace Brothers and Sisters Rock On!
We lost a great one the other day. Jeff Healy. A blind guy who played guitar on his lap. Oscar Lopez is a legend of Spanish style guitar. Give him a listen. x
Jimmy Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Also that guy that made his guitar talk was pretty good too. OH and Tom Morello from RATM.
In no particular order Duane Allman Derek Trucks Warren Haynes Hendrix Mikey Houser Trey Jimmy Herring Bobby
