People often forget the talent of the scriptwriter.

Roy Clarke wrote Last of the summer wine, Open all hours and Keeping up appearances.
Many people have never even heard of him.

In 2014 i met Paul "the punisher" Williams at the gym i train at. A former world champion boxer who became paralyzed after a motorcycle accident. Still inspires others with his positive mindset and attitude despite what happened. A champion both in and out of the ring. If you meet him, he'll still be smiling.

Most of the famous people i've met were fighters.

As a teenager, I served lunch to Peter Frampton and his girlfriend in Ocean Beach on Fire Island. In my early twenties, I got to hang out, waterski and drink tequila all afternoon with Brooke Shields in Acapulco. And I know a guy, Sully Erna, through his sister Maria, that rocks like few others, with his band, Godsmack. Doing some high end carpentry in NYC, I've ridden in elevators with a bunch of familiar people, Ron Jeremy comes to mind.

Dennis Quaid shot my friend while we were playing laser tag. A year or so later I sat in a plane beside Jim Morris, a pitcher who Quaid played in a movie.

Met Randy Newman at a long ago Jazzfest, but most important two people in my life were my parents. Until you grow up and have to parent, you don't realize how amazing your parents were. I was incredibly lucky. My brother and son are great guys too.

I've met Ahhhhnold in his Conan the Barbarian days.

    I've met Bob Barker.

Dennis Rodman and his girl at the time Carmen Electra.

Heather Locklear and Richie Sambora in a hottub in my hotel in Vermont of all places. She was super sweet. I didn't even know who Richie Sambora was. LOL. He was there buying a big Marina on Lake Champlain. Had no idea he was a musician.

I've met Dale Earnhardt Sr. in the Olive Garden by the track in Daytona. Very nice guy.

I met ex prez Bill Clinton when I did secure comms for AF1. He was mostly a prick.

I met Colin Powell back before he was a big shot. One of the nicest guys in the world.

I met Tyra Banks when she was a Makita Tool Girl. She had the most amazing skin I had ever seen. It almost radiates a glow that I have never seen before or since. I might still have that signed calenders
    somewhere.

I met Sam Walton's grand daughter.

I met 2 Playboy Playmates. Kim Herrin and Missy Cleveland. Completely 2 different types of people. Kim was a sweet level headed nice woman. Missy was a party chick. I also dated a Playboy Bunny. Not the same as a Playmate. The Bunny's worked the clubs back then. I met what became my first wife through her. I should have stayed with the bunny....lol.

i'll assume you just mean that he won laser tag, and not that he's a concealed carry guy as well as a poor loser.

Bill Elliott, NASCAR driver, nice guy, he was tired but he still made a long time fan feel appreciated. Met Bill’s son Chase the same day. Watched him race. He was 16 and still stunned by it all.
Coolest celeb, Mike Pinera. Was in a line to get his autograph, he was holding a camcorder recording everyone in line. Nice touch.
    Orneriest was Minnesota Fats.
Most important, Mel Blanc, incredibly funny and talented man.

i've never met anyone who wasn't as important as everyone else i've ever met.

you might be surprised where you might see people all the time,
and not even realize they're the same person you think you know from their image.

when the cameras are off and the lights are off and the makeup gets washed off,
    people are just people.

there just isn't anything else to it then that.

i would have to say the most important person to how people think i have ever met would probably be isaac asimov. (and spell check seriously can't spell)

i could probably name names as long as my arms, but i'm not sure what would be the point.
some politicians, some writers, and yes, even some musicians and actors, and so on.

those i've known at all well i've known by their mundane names which most people would probably not recognize anyway.

not that i'm ever likely to be any kind of a big deal myself,
but people who are interested in interesting things,
tend to congregate to places of shared mutual interests.

and some have the fortune to do creative things with their lives.
but its the interests that matter, not how much or how little people get recognized for them.
