Like everything in religion, symbolism is often used to convey a point.

The Anti Christ is representative of a cycle. The bottom end of which is a time of little virtue and much vice.

There is nothing in nature that does not travel a path. Each enjoys a birth, a time of duration, and finally a death. Such cycles for the Anti Christ run several generations between outbreaks. When is it paced with religious belief, it can be timed.

Once those who knew the pain of this kind of system have died off, their warnings silent, the trigger is set once again. Each century has the scars of such people in power.

i heard about that too, as for nero we have to remember that john wrote this in code back then so i think people now think its nero but i think the anti christ is yet to come.
