In the way I mentioned , I doubt if *anywhere* could be as idiotic as Britain. Most European countries had revolutions over the shit we still have. The saddest thing is that too many people are too dopey to realise it.. But America does have problems.I mean Bxsh and Clinton almost both got in cos of who their father .. or husband was... Most of the world is materialist.Quality of life /standard of living are ok. Its just when they hinder other things like technological + cultural advancement.
Cultures are a bit different. Like- my mom thinks I have an American idea of personal space. Brazilians tend to stand closer to one another when they talk than is comfortable for me. But generally speaking, American individualism and puritanism still feel very foreign and scary to me when I am here. I feel like nobody gives a fuck what happens to me; because if I die in a car accident- it's my fault. Blame the victim---. When I go to Brazil on vacation, I come to the realization that my boundaries are violated all the time and no one allows me personal space. Although a feel a closer connection and camaraderie with my fellow man. Give and take_.
Yah you have a real mess going on there. I think the only country I would rather not live in even more than the US is England. Ireland on the other hand is pretty cool.
you know, for a while, i had a best friend who was from guam. it was very much the same thing. my family is very very cold, physically. i think it's what kept us from tearing each other to shreds for real. the physical proximity thing took a long time for me to get used to. i'm not big on being touched except by family or sexual partners. because i have such an intense response to physical touch. i either adopt you as family instantly or fuck you.
i don't feel strongly enough about politics to hate my country, but it really doesn't have anything to be hated for anyways
who the fuck's been to both? northerners visit canada; southerners visit mexico. ghost lyrics's just don't visit
i went to the bahamas on a cruise once. of course this was before i was old enough to really remember anything. my parents used to do all kinds of fun things with me before my brain was fully developed. or maybe we actually did none of these things and they just don't want to sound as cheap as they really are
same. only vacation they ever took me on, was to Disney World, when I was 5. like I remember that? I doubt we even went. :toetap05:
it's very hard living in the U.S and just go off to a ton of different countries.. it's so big! you gotta get on planes to get any further than 2 states away most of the time and sometimes it's cheaper than traveling by car which doesn't mean cheap either. Living in Europe makes it easy to see many different countries.
I’ve been to both :cheers2: Although I admit because I’m only two hours from the border I’ve been to canada several times Hotwater
I love my country. I think it is one of the best countries to live in, EVER. Fuck all the BS in the OP...that is just meaningless drivel.
