I prefer the suppository to a laxative now because a lot of times I would take a big dose of a laxative, way more then the maximum said to take which is not healthy, and nothing would happen. With a suppository you are close to gauranteed something will come out, even though on rare occasion they dont work. It usually isnt a complete dump that comes out for me with them but its enough that you know you are keeping things moving and avoiding a blockage.

yep we got opiod receptors in the stomach and intestines that are opiates grab onto and it in turn slows are digestive system down big time and causes bricks we have to get out. I'm bad with drinking water, now I make myself drink 16oz of water with my "miralax" and non-opiate med's(which includes another softener) in the morning, and I usually drink a 32oz gatorade/powerade throughout the day, and then 8oz or so of water for my nighttime non-opiate meds. Soda seems to not help with constipation much.

^^^yeah soda causes constipation lol. i remember back in the day i used to drink 2-3 bottles of soda daily. it caused some serious buildup in my intestine. i went to the chiropractor and he took an x-ray of my back, but couldnt get a good shot because the buildup in my intestine was like super dense or something. that shit is poison

It really is poison. Most dentists will also tell you they are the worst things to consume for your teeth. I enjoy drinking a pepsi or whatever once in awhile, but if I consume like 4 cans a day over a week or so I will get really sick of it and not be able to drink any for another week or longer. And right now Im in a phase of not drinking any kind of soda, I think its all the sugar or something that makes me get sick of them. I much prefer gatorade, powerade, vitamin water, or something like that.
