Not any member of the Bush Family and or any member of the current regime in power. Jimmy Buffett will do just fine. He dosen't seem like the war monger type.

John Paul Jones. he has an awesome bass line in Heartbreaker. it's bass lines like that are going to win the war on terror in these confusing times. i believe his bass lines could effectively cut taxes while lowering the deficit. John and his bass lines will work with senators from both parties to make america a better place for our children to grow up in

They'd have to amend the Constitution in order for Ah-nuld to run.

I'd like to see Joe Biden, Jim Jeffords or Patrick Leahy. I'd say Leahey. Leahy is a well known Deadhead and one occasion He took the entire band to dinner at The Senate Dining Room.

That is right about Arnie: - Arnie can only stand if the Constitution is amended because only Citizens born in the U.S.A. are eligible to stand for the Whitehouse & Arnie was born in Austria.

I reckon it will be either Hillary Clinton or Bill Gates. :p

eh becausse it would have to be the whole world, you could argue that parts of spain, the usssrfrom 1917-1923 and the paris commune were all soiclaist or approacing socialism and might well have gone a lot firther if they werne't invaded!

It is pretty obvious you have never lived under communist rule, if you have i dont think you would vote that way.

    Gotta love these highschool commies.

the problem is that there has never been a 'communist country'. the thing a lot of people get confused with communism is totalitarian dictatorships, which is actually an enemy of communism. if commies like me had our way there would be no government becuase nobody would have to be tolkd what to do; we would all get along and share everything.

yeah i know it's farfetched, but idealism never dropped an atomic bomb.

i agree, the theory of capitalism works just as well. the problem i've noticed is that in a predominantly capitalist society people are too lazy to work and therefore grind other people's asses into the ground to make their dollar, whereas in a predominantly socialist society people who are too lazy to work simply get ostracised. i could be way off here, but it seems to me that the predominantly socialist system works better.
