Weirdest crush I've ever had? I'm reading some of these up here and I'm not finding them that weird. (If anything, they have some flavor to them.) Some might consider my obsession with Che Guevara weird (the communist revolutionary - Oh man! He was SEXY!)

... But the weirdest crush I've ever had was on a 62-year-old homeless hippie in Golden Gate Park. I was 17 at the time, 18 now. He gave me a handful of weed to "roll a joint while he went to go score some." He had long hair and everything, which was a turn on right away, and he was telling stories about how he used to work on Jefferson Airplane's roadie crew and clean up after the Grateful Dead. He said he moved to Hawaii when he was six because of his dad's job, and that he was "the only Brooklyn Jew in Hawaii." (Guess he relocated.) He kept hugging me and stuff, and I was trying not to be all giggly. I loved his vibe.

... My dad was there, too, so it put a damper on what could have happened. I would have totally propositioned him if he wasn't...

Next time I go to San Francisco, I'm totally hitting up Golden Gate Park to look for him. If anyone knows Richie, let me know!
