I also think it would be based on an x, y and z axis. There's no north, south, east and west because you can move in three dimensions as opposed to on the ground where you can only move in two.

 

human concept as opposed to an observed concept. animals dont make concepts that we can understand. thus there are the concepts that we develop as tools and there are concepts that define the world around us seperate from us. human concepts are only found in humans, and not all concepts concernign humans are human concepts, it matters whether humans established teh concept, and since humans established language, thus words, thus 'up' and 'down', i would call it a human concept.

That's true. Since there wouldn't be a reference point, I don't know how the hell it would be based. I'm not stoned enough to think about it too much becasue I am completely sober right now.
