thank you i am learning as well. i feel that what astrology books etc have to offer are just guidelines, a foundation for you to build upon with your own unique experiences, symbolic and philisophical interpretations. following it as if its written in stone sorta leaves you trapped inside an inflexible box with know breathing room. lol.

you could never bore me, i really enjoy reading about other people and what fascinates them. maybe you could help me with alternative healing, i am very interested as well, but quite inexperienced. might i suggest that you read up on chiron, the astroid/comet of healing, look to the placement of chiron in your chart (astro.com) its sign, house placement, and major aspects, if you would like i could do this for you. infact i recall you mentioning that you were a pisces with scorpio moon? is this correct? if so, i have this progressive book called the 13th sign which points twoard a 13th sign inbetween scorpio and sagittarius, allowing only 7 degrees for scorpio....this sign is called Ophiuchus, the sign of healing. this is another constellation in sky gaining much deserved recongition in the astrological world. astrology has undergone many changes and adjustments so perhaps we are finally gaining some depth.

it is quite possible that your moon has fallen in this area of the sky.

also neptune is associated with alternative medicine and healing if im not mistaken. ??

i hope chiron and ophiuchus might offer some interesting insight! definetly chiron, a totally under rated astroid/comet in the chart. it is essential for one who wishes to grow *through* or by means of their astrological chart, for it deals(generalization here -->) our pain (not soley pain just an example) and the flip side, healing our pain, and when directed outward, healing other peoples pain, or a healer of the masses or nations etc (as was chiron the centaur). idk. but that it just one of many aspects.

yes. my chart says I'm pisces with a scorpio moon and cancer rising.

I've only been reading astrology sites on & off for a couple of months. I really don't know much other than the generic pisces (sun) & scorpio (moon) info that I've found on the web.

I did my chart at astro. com but I don't know how to copy & paste it here. (or even copy it to my computer)

I did copy & paste the words of the charts in another thread for you to look at.

on alternative healing, mostly what I know about is dietary & nutrition. I needed to learn about it to help my son. I've also taken him to accupuncture.

I'll try to start a new thread later to ask questions perhaps. This week though with Thanksgiving & travel may not be the best for me to be on the internet.

its strange. i almost said i bet your chiron is in aquarius. dietary and nutrion sounds like virgo sixth house stuff....and chrion is co-rule of virgo in some astrological circles. how neat.

It seems to me it that certain intuitive people just have a gift for it. I feel when I read your posts you have a gift. You know like some doctors are really gifted at intuitively knowing the problem or how to read a patient & some are good, but it is more scientific with them? that's my analogy. some people just seem more intuitive & natural. I think you being scorpio & the water signs, actually are all more intuitive in astrology & psychology, etc when people's personalities are concerned.
