Which of these bands is most overrated?

I'll just throw it out there....
Metallica hasn't put out an okay song since Cliff Burton died.
Also, I can't stand U2, the Eagles, DMB, or Aerosmith.

 

i don't like any of those either


And I really only ever liked the first 2 or maybe 3 albums 'tallica had

they weren't anywhere near my station. then nirvana happened and the whole world sold out. it used to have such diversity. still bums me out.

 

ClearChannel, payola, ease/laziness.

 

yeah, my station was pretty independent, until nirvana and grunge happened. then clear channel bought them. pft.

I can't even remember the last time I listened to the radio

when i was working, I heard it all the time, but now, shit, I probably wouldn't even know over half the shit they are playing.

and I'll bet most of it is garbage

 

we've got a station outta denver that i'm really enjoying. reminds me of old KROQ. quirky, but with some of the lighter entertainment here and there.

 

we used to have a decent channel for a short time, which actually they called Krock or soemthing similar

but they couldn't let us be happy with that, and they changed the format back to hip hop and modern shit like madonna and whoever is the equivalent of her today

 

When it comes to radio I don't stray too far from either NPR or ESPN

 

madonna is still the equivalent of madonna today, I often wonder when that haggard old bitch's reign of terror will end
