Though I believe he struggled in the 80s with alcoholism or something. Also, George and Ringo both divorced post-Beatles. In terms of music, though, it's tough for me to decide. Paul continues to tour even today and had more commercial success with his albums, so in the end, my vote goes to him.
yeah fuckin' right on, John, Paul and George's solo stuff bored the shit out of me, plus Thomas The Tank Engine rocked
ALL the lads struggled with dependency at one point or another, so thats a non factor. None of the Beatles had much luck in marriage, but barbara bach was the obvious best looker of the batch. While Ringo may not be in the front of the tour world, he does tour often, even during the times that Paul wasnt. Ringo's AllStarr Band has talent equal or above what Paul and Johns ego would let back them. Also, Richard Starkey was born during the Blitz, and was lucky to have lived thru his first night, first month, first year. He had health trouble early that could have killed him, and every day he lives is a bonus from that standpoint alone. Then you can add in that he was a Beatle! Not to mention, Ringo leads the rest of the lads in Saturday Night Live appearances! I must add tho, that I think George has a close second, as he was producer of Monty Pythons movies, and thats about as cool a thing as can be on ones resume'.
I think Paul had the best solo career...I mean, the man played Superbowl half-time!Yes, the same half time where, fourty year old Janet Jackson flashed herself on a Sunday afternoon! People are coming home from church and bam!...But i dont' pick favorites cuz i love all of the beatles through and through.
