where is your favorite popular nude beach that you have visited?

Haulover Beach and Playalinda beach. Both in Florida

 

I have only visited one which is the most popular one in the city I live. It's called Swanbourne Nude Beach in Western Australia!

 

La Cote Sauvage in the Charrente maritime in S W France is the most spectacular nude beach I know, but the surf can make it a bit hairy for weak swimmers! Otherwise, further south there is Hendaye north , the most gorgeous beach with spectacular views across the bay to Spain, a little cafe, toilets & beach showers. All this and clothing optional as well! But can get quite busy in high season.

 

Little Beach Maui was our first and still my favorite. beautiful scenery, lots of couples on vacation trying something new, some families, a few locals. the surf is fun to play in, we've loved every day there, can't wait to get back!

 

None of the UK ones I've visited have been any good. Full of male meerkats who are there to pop up at the slightest whiff of a female. Really uncomfortable. Best to visit a club.

 

Best to avoid it on Sundays, though. There are people who've come with bongos for years and it used to be a nice nice day for nude swiming/sun bathing. A few sites on the internet started hyping this up and now you get many, many textiled people with coolers full of ice coming to "watch the show," which, supposedly involves fire dancing and 70% nude/30% textiled people on the beach. More like 5% nude (or less). If you like an audience, maybe you'd like it, but I wouldn't think it's a nude beach from the time I was there on Sunday.

During the week is still good. Your description matches my experience for the weekdays and Saturday.

I've never been to a nude beach but I really want to go. I have it planned so that I might can go to Haulover year after next but I will be by myself and I'm a little afraid to go down there by myself. I don't know how to protect my wallet, etc.

I have only been to 1 bude beach (In cape cod) and I loved it!!!


I put my towel down next to some people and got undressed and just stretched...AH MAN WAS IT GOOD!!!!!!!!

I saw some lady in the ocean COVERING HER BREASTS!! -- Hehe why was she @ a nude beach and doing that??

I love Gunnison Beach for people watching, but Polo Beach is beautiful

 

Hippie Hollow in Austin TX

 

An update to my last post.
I was lucky enough to visit Playalinda Beach in Florida for two days last month.
My rankings are,
Polo Beach
Playalinda( a close second)
Gunnison.

All are great beaches!!

 

Used to be Mckenna on Maui. I guess it's built up now. Were hundreds of naked hippies back in the day.

 

Hippie Hollow in Austin is great! Been to Haulover and Blacks, but I love Hippie Hollow. Diverse group. Lots of older guys who want to come up and talk, especially if a girl is left alone for a minute, but they are all very sweet and they never made me feel unsafe. Plenty of park rangers, but they keep their distance. Lots of couples.

 

I've been to Negril Jamaica and had a wonderful time. Very interesting resort.

 

Our favorite is Blind Creek Beach on Hutchinson Island near Fort Pierce , Fl

 

We loved Orient Beach in St Martin before the hurricane a few years back.

 

Blacks Beach in San Diego. The first time I went there it was a Holiday so it actually go fairly crowded, and all different types of people.The next time was just a regular weekend, but there was a group of college kids there playing volleyball.
