Where is the gathering this year?

My Vote Is For East Texas Whay Are All You Hippies Scared Of Texas Actually Alot More Of There Laws Have Lower Penalties Research It Texas Is The Shit Anyone Who Disagrees Just Doent Belong There Or Hasent Explored It Enough.

 

You need to wait on that until you are a little older! 15 is too young, you could screw up your whole plan for your future!

 

My biggest concern about Texas is the drought that we are going into year 3 of...

I'm just plain afraid of Texas............hell, it seems like everytime I go into the south I either get hassled, stared at relentlessly, or arrested.......went to VA in 99, didn't leave till 03, lol.

-Not that I have ANYTHING against the south, I think their are some VERY beautiful places, I love appalachia, bluegrass, and southern hospitality, I know some great southern people as well..............it's just the LEO factor, rampant neo- conservatism, and fundamentalists that scare me.

 

The best thing I did when I was 14 was LSD. It turned my whole life around. Among other things I did when I was 14 were trying suicide, cutting, running away, massive quantities of ludes and valiums...That was all before LSD. Dosing helped me reflect on my life objectively and see where my ego was fucking things up.



But yeah, it looks like this year's gathering may be Arkansas, tentatively, but that's where they're looking.

 

No doubt, a lot of us tripped young. However, I'm not a girl from a Texas Republican family. If she wants her parents to allow her to go, she best respect their wishes. Prove that rainbow is a safe and positive environment from any point of view.

 

Wow...You want to go to a gathering to try drugs? What about meeting the people and soaking up the atmosphere?

 

every body gathers for different reasons. one persons reason to gather is no better than anothers.

 

i was 13 when i tried shrooms for the first time.
man, i saw my future self and it was amazing.
and so far, it's been right on track for me.
enlightenment holds no age limit.
and i am the most enlightened person i know.
i'll be 19 in july and i'm happy with who i am.
all bc of almost six years ago, i made a choice to try psychedelics.
psychedelics opened the door to mind more so than sex or other drugs.
i will always and forever do them, it's who i am.
i truly am very colorful and i am proud of that fact.

 

Seems like she's exploiting the opportunity.

 

one should join the rainbow for the solid family unit.
if there are drugs there, and most likely will be so, then great.
but the family is the most important thing there.

 

Exactly! And please understand that while many of us were young when first trying pyschedelics, many of us are old enough now to have seen or experienced bummer trips & their sometimes long term effects.

i'm not bummed out yet.
and i have never had a bum trip.
my mind was made for psychedelics.

 

some are lucky that way, some aren't.

and then there's the issue of making sure that you're hanging out trustworthy folks who won't take advantage of a sweet little tripping teen...... I can tell you this, when our oldest decided to dose at a Gathering, we hung out with her.

I very STRONGLY disagree with this...people who go to a gathering SOLELY to do drugs?!?!...it's fuckin' exploitation of the purpose ya know? Least thats how it feels. It's not a concert...

 

yeah, it's for the family foundation.
we've already established that, lol.

but drugs are there regardless, just like a concert.
your choice to do them there to limitedly up to the person.

i personally would, but i do drugs anyways.
but i wouldn't go to the gathering solely for drugs.
it's just a good way of exploiting ourselves to the masses
that hippies cannot hold a suitable lifestyle.
but we are already portrayed that way anyways.

 

reminds me of how Phish ended up..........lol, I remember the last few tours....more people on shakedown street than in the show.
