One time, when I was about 16 - freshly licensed, "invincible" teenager - I threw a piece of plastic out the window of my friends car.

I STILL feel absolutely terrible for doing that. And if I see any of my friends litter, I actually feel myself looking down on them for it

Due to recent developments, I'll just throw the peel of my daily banana on my garage floor.

That ad campaign, as I recall had an observable effect. Some such like it should be recycled.

I think that ad should be brought back (recycled) too. That was such a great piece.

I don't litter, especially out of a car. Obviously you've never been hit with an object thrown from the car in front of you, whether it be pencil shavings or a sandwich.

    Ahhh.....

Now I cant say I have directly done this but, When doing road trips I have seen a

few people throwing glass bottles at road signs as we were driving past them kind of like target practice,

What are peoples thoughts about shrines ( like a tree with 100's bottles on it)

maybe a tree covered in cloths or the old shoes over the power line trick?

Personally I think it adds culture,

Were do you draw the line on littering, Is not building a house littering?

A house is not going to decompose and in the end its just going to turn to shit and become obsolete,

I don't like litter in nature eg. beaches, mountains or bush

In a tip its ok tho

They dig rely big holes to put it in and the rest they burn,

Go to an old tip site and dig a small hole, I can bet you a bunch you wont have to dig very deep to find trash,

I tend not to care to much about others littering habit's as if saying something to them will instantly stop them from doing it,

Like anything littering is a habit,

The best solution would be just to remove the litter from the market,

If there is no litter to litter you cant litter right?

Ugh...I'm so annoyed at how much trash is made on a daily basis. I'm all about composting, and reusing and recycling and have a hard time throwing things away because even the things that are decomposing, more things are constantly being made and bought and consumed and it is such an endless cycle...but I know it's not necessary.

I will throw out fruit & veg in the woods or on a path or where there is grass and trees...that's about it. Other than that everywhere I go I'm picking up trash and putting it away. It pisses me off what people leave on the earth everywhere...things kids can pick up, animals can get hurt on, people can get hurt with...cigarrette butts, cans, plastic...not cool people.
