hello I buy alot of stuff from charity shops and for my daughter too,I get a real buzz when I get a bargain.I very rarely buy anything new, don't see the point.Other than that I make a few crocheted tops.
I shop at places like... Charlotte Russe, Forever 21(mostly online), Wet seal(mostly online), Mod cloth, Butterfly momma, Soul flower, Hippie shop and pink ice.
I get a lot of shirts at rugged wearhouse. I like to buy my jeans at american eagle. I buy my boxers at wal-mart. I don't buy shoes very often.
I'm trying to find places to buy my clothes too. I have a really hard time finding clothes that I actually love and that are me!! I've resulted to making my own, but just need the money to buy the damn fabric xD I also have been collecting other people's fabric scraps (if anyone has some, please pm me ) to make skirts and stuff. I'm planning to get some colourful jersey cotton type fabric to make some tops Its so damn hard finding clothes I love, even in camden in london, the home of awesomeness, the clothes I find and I love are too damn expensive and don't go up to my size!! Making my own clothes is a whole new adventure and I know it will be sooo worth it when I can wear what I make!
I buy a very vast majority of my clothes from thrift stores. I also buy some things from garage sales and small, personally-owned shops I run into. I always go to places like Target for underwear and whatnot, though, because there are some things I just don't want second-hand.
I like to get my chlothes mostly from places like H & M, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, Epic Jeans, even Target or JC Penny and of course "$10" stores!
All my clothes are from thrift stores, target, or this cute rockabilly store i like. Funny thing is people always tell me im overdressed!
A lot of my clothes come from street vendors at festivals. During the Old Spanish Days and Multicultural Festivals lots of beautiful, cheap hippie clothes can be found where I live. I also stalk the vintage stores for relics from the 60's. Travel helps too... I found a great pair of moccasin boots and a Native American shawl in Arizona when I was traveling to the Rainbow Gathering earlier this month.
Lately, if not online, then thrift stores. But mostly online. I'm just about to put in an order at GypsyRose.com.
I shop at thrift stores. If I'm really spoiling myself with new clothes, I go to Walmart. I also go there for my under-roos. But mostly I stick with the second hand stuff. I wish I could sew. I often find pants that are almost good, just need a little playing with, but I have no idea how to do it. Even when I'm not hurting for clothes I like to go hunt for t-shirt treasures. You never know what you might find.
My town doesn't have anything except thrift stores and Walmart. I don't think I have the eye for sewing. Every time that I try it doesn't work out.
I get my clothing mostly from thrify shops and sometimes from freecycle. You would be amazed at the nice things people just give away on freecycle sometimes. I by under things from Walmart, yeah they are evil but my husband works loss prevention for them so I can not really complain about their evil too much. The evil empire of Walmart keeps the roof over my head! Sometimes I buy knee socks at Hot Topic. I love the stripey knee socks! I also have a favorite seller on Ebay. Sewbluequilter makes reasonably priced skirts with patchwork and stuff. I have had several and they hold up really well, she does a good job making them. She will even do custom work, she made my daughter some skirts as a custom order.
I buy clothes from thrift shops, or get them from people and then change them into a creation of my own by wither cutting them, bringing them in, putting patches, painting or whatever. I like being the only one to wear what I am wearing.
