grrr... it is snowing all over the country and not a single snowflake here ! just cold stupid dumbass friggin'rain, rain, rain , which turns the fields into swamps, wtf ! I like mud but enough is enough . after years of total drought all of a sudden we are getting all the overdue rain and since everything is broken here, this means floods .

Restarting the barefoot season... Today was the first day in a while without frost, and forecasts are looking good for more barefoot days to come - details on my barefooting today are in this journal entry of mine.

Wiggling happy toes, since they touched Mother Earth again today,

I went skiing yesterday, when I was was having a break I took my boots off and danced about a bit , when an instructor came over and told me to put my boots back on - I argued it was my free will and she just said, fine but don't sue when you get pneumonia! Nice.

I had the day off today(whoo hoo) and we still have lots of snow but it was a beautiful day. So of course all around the house barefoot then I ran to get some wood in my barefeet, not too bad :)

I was in Baton Rouge, LA and drove to New Orleans. The temp was in the high 50's (~15 deg C), so not real warm, but great when you're used to it being around freezing. I went barefoot to a Rite Aid, a Walgreen's, a convenience store, and checked-in at a Marriott Courtyard. It was nice to "expose the toes." Louisiana is a wonderful place for going barefoot - no one seems to care. Realistically, no one notices. It just doesn't register.

Only in the garden so far today. Snowing, it's always snowing, I am getting tired of it now.

A little chilly, but my feet needed their freedom. I went barefoot to a cool little coffee shop and then stopped for gas.

Mon - Fri, this week: barefoot on the way to work and back home, occasional grocery shopping (without hassle) and a few short walks in a nearby park to feel some soil beneath my soles...
Currently, I am waiting for my office day to end (6 minutes and counting... :D ) and to stow away my shoes until Monday morning... a report on my barefoot weekend will follow.

    Wiggling toes in happy anticipation,

I'm sick of cold weather!! :( Friday I just had to "expose the toes," so I went out barefoot to Subway to grab some lunch, then to the UPS store and the credit union. Later I went to the Post Office. Hopefully it will warm up this week.

As you might have seen in the "Dressing for bare feet" and "Pictures of your feet part 2" threads, I had a wonderful barefoot walk in the park near my place today. What else happened this weekend as far as my bare feet are concerned, can be read in my journal... posting all of that in this thread would be too spammy, really.

    Wiggling happy weekend toes,

Yesterday: barefoot to our fantasy role-playing meeting in slightly frosty conditions (bween -1° and -5°C)... no problem whatsoever.
Today: the second installment of this year's barefoot walk in the park (see my journal for details and pictures).

    :D

    Wiggling very happy toes,

Had to put my flip flops on to get into the nightclub, but was barefoot the rest of the night.

It's 60 out so went out to stationers without bothering to look for shoes. Nice.

Yeah, true. If it applies to that one post above the "tweet, tweet, tweet" comment, it's pretty much the whole thread.

I find that an interesting expression for any pointless babble, though. The babble on Twitter tends to be short, succinct, and highly abbreviated, since each tweet must be <= 140 characters. I'd find it hard to call a long-winded rant just a tweet or even multiple tweets.

To be on topic, though, I taught classes barefoot today :) The classroom floors are so dirty that I can hardly stand to have flip flops despite the fact that it's slightly chilly outside.
