Is it just me or the blotter's I've seen before were like a quarter of the size of these?

 

they look pretty standard size. 25 to a graphic, 100 total.

They sure look cool. But yeah, don't be so puzzled I've only seen LSD in real life once and it was a few years ago lol.

 

To be fair you have no idea what the scale is they are the same size as every blotter i've ever gotten, except for DOx blotter, which has always been smaller

 

Well the book is most likely printed on 11x17 paper, can't really discern the type of binding, either booklet with a saddle stitch or perfectbind, which would mean it's trimmed to about 7.50-7.75 inches wide. The individual hits are approx. .40 inches square, so the strip is 8"x2".

Is that correct Mr. Writer?

No. I've done pretty much every class of drugs except psychs (unless you consider cannabis psychs, but I don't really...) For some reason I've always had a crazy fear/fascination relationship with them. All I know is I'm pretty much obsessed with them right now and I'm not gonna stop thinkin about it until I find out for myself so I'm planning to start with a small dose of 4 aces this summer to test the waters and see where that takes me.

 

Better you should start with LSD or maybe 2cb or even mushrooms.
From what I've read in these forums, 4aces can be a rather profound soul searching/wrenching experience. The kind of experience that is better delved into after you have some familierarity with the psychedelic headspace.
As far as fear factors, LSD has a very long history of use and has been proven to be one of the safest, if not the safest psychedelic known. RC's while most likely safe, just don't have the multiple decades of human use to confirm effects over the long term.
But that is just my partially informed opinion as I have never tried 4aces personally.
Thoughts from any of you more experienced with that substance?

 

I heard 4 aces was like mushrooms with a smoother comeup and less mindfuck, but I could be wrong. I guess If I take a big dose I guess it could seriously kick my ass, but if I'm taking a kiddie pool dose like 15 mg, I should be able to handle it.

Or I might just eat some mushrooms if I come across them... I know I'm ordering my 4 aces real soon though. Just waiting to see if this postal strike happens.

 

If it's between mushrooms and 4aces I would pick 4aces for your first time as mushroom dosage is quite random, and the trip is more chaotic and has more body load.

I think 4aces would be fine as a first time, not a high dose though, maybe ~20mg would be perfect to give you an idea of what psyches are about. It's also shorter than LSD, at like 4-6 hours. I'm excited to see what you think of psyches.

 

What if it's between 4-Aces and ANYTHING? or LSD?

I'm excited too. To be honest with you I have a feeling I'm going to have my ass handed to me at first. I've been meditating alot lately and what I've come to realize is that I'm a control freak. For every aspect of my life, I stay near my comfort zone. Even when I go on trips (literal trips) I kinda count down the days before I'm back to my safe little nest. When I go somewhere I always take my car so I can come back any time I want... I basically dabble in things. I don't settle into my experiences, I just kinda run a few feet away from my home and then come back running like a little child without ever just ''being there'' and letting go.

I know that once I take a psychedelic, that sense of safety and control is going to be ripped away from me. No matter where I am, no matter what I am doing, I'm going to be gone for a little while. I can fight it and fight it and fight it, but it's going to kick the living crap out of me until I finally decide to let go.

From what I have learned, this is how I think I can benefit from psychs. Learning to feel at home even with no control. This is why I disagree (in my case) when people say ''don't do it if youre scared, it means youre not ready''.

 

I imagine a lot of people feel some degree of anxiety about taking psychedelics. There's this thing like, "I can't believe I'm really doing this."

Certainly respect is a good way to approach something that many people say is the most important experience of their lives. "The most important experience in my life? She-it, I think I'll play a video game."

You might just find that there's nowhere to go and you're already always home that's what happened to me, im like you in these regards.

4aces would be an excellent first choice because of the low body load, moderate duration, potential for real, true psychedelia of impossibility and paradox, and yet *extremely* gentle character. It's a real, full psychedelic, like mushrooms or LSD. Just take 15-25mg and that should be perfect, enough to get effects you can't ignore but not enough to rip your reality apart TOO much. I took 40mg of it my first time and found that to be an excellent dose but that was not my first psychedelic ever. Mine was MDMA and that is the perfect first time one IMO.

LSD would be fantastic as well. It is my favorite psychedelic and the most psychedelic psychedelic IMO.

You've got a lot you can choose from, there are many great psychedelics to get introduced to

 

Ahhh I can't wait. My friend who I'm doing this with came over tonight. He's done shrooms before but never in a serious fashion. We always talk about the universe and how mind blowing everything is in general. He's definitely more level-headed than me and just as curious as me to find out what's on the other side. He's like a bro to me, we've both pulled each other out of some serious shit at one time or another. I think tripping with him is gonna be just perfect.

Do you guys prefer 4 aces at night or during the day? Would going to the cottage be a good plan to do this?

 

You think LSD or mushrooms would be easier than aces? I feel like 4-AcO-DMT would be the perfect starter psych. It gets steeper when you increase the dose but I imagine LSD to be way more profound and intense.

Day only because that's the only time I've tried them. It's just been real nice so far so I haven't done night yet, but I definitely will soon. I'm sure it's just as great. I did experience the night on the tail end of my highest dosed trip and it made some great visuals in the night sky.

Cottage sounds good.

Night time is always great for classic psychs and 4 ace. IMO. :2thumbsup:

 

My first psych was Weed... That's the best starting point Then next up shrooms, then LSD, Ketamine, 2CB, various combos, nexus flips, candy flips, nexus flips blah blah blah (MDMA, Coke, Ket, Weed & LSD (or 2cb) has always been an awesome journey for me, psychedelic, spiritual and indulgent all at the same time )...

Go for what ever you feel comfortable starting with. MDMA is a great introduction, and also can be used to help facilitate a 'good trip' because of all that serotonin!
