When I hear the word 'church'

It was rather uncomfortable sitting there thinking, if only they knew I was happy with this sin, they circle me and pray and dance until I gave in. It was weird.

 

The last church I went to.....the preacher was telling everyone "if you don't give us some money, you're going to go to hell". haha They had at least 6 12-foot flatscreens in there, and all kinds of lighting effects, as well as I fairly famous band, so he was basically telling us we'd go to hell if we didn't help pay for their electronics and the "entertainment"

 

Catholic by any chance?

 

No it was just a free chapel. I'm guessing it was mostly baptist folks in there.

I take that back though.....that wasn't the last church I went to. I went to a few churches in ATL so I could get free clothes and food while I was staying at the homeless shelter. lol Still, the sermons were life-draining.

 

That would make me uncomfortable.

 

As a side note: The churches I was going to in ATL were giving us homeless folks Highway 420 hoodies:sifone: haha

Ya same, I just immedietly zone out when someone starts talking about western religion.

 

I don't zone out. I tell them eggzakly why I think it's bullshit though.

 

To be fair, all religions are technically bullshit. It's very unlikely that one is right and hundreds of others are wrong!

On the news the other day, a guy was complaining that a shop disrespected his religion. He was Jedi.

 

I used to listen, then I used to zone out, now I get angry to the point where I have to leave whoever is talking in mid sentence...

 

The bold is usually one of my main points. lol It's arrogant for anyone to think they know better than other people, when none of us know anything for sure until we die. I don't guess it matters, as long as people follow their hearts and believe in what feels right to them.
