I'm going to have to agree with you when you say that you'll never be a musician. Perhaps a crappy one, but never one that anyone is ever going to take seriously. I only say this cause you're in school for it. Real musicians aren't in school to become musicians, they are out there being them.

But i do agree with you, I probably won't be much more than the bar musician i am. its fun as hell, but the rant wasn't about being a rock star, but living off my music. there are hundreds of paths to live off music. peace

way to kick a brother when he's down. but any way, all the greatest musicians had training....either in a school or under an apprenticeship. there are few "prodigies" out there. Its like that mastercard commercial about that kid who wants to play hockey. Parents teach him how to skate, he sucks. Parents put him on a team, he sucks. Parents make him a goalie, he sucks. He sees the zamboni resurfacing the ice and he realizes he still has a future.
